The Research Coming Out of The Hive

The Hive is a rare thing: a competitive club and a working research environment sharing the same room. Over the past year, our students and university partners have been turning what happens here into real research.

That includes a Tilburg–BUas project using gameplay, communication and physiological data to understand how teams perform under pressure, and a graduation study on the barriers facing women in esports and how to make The Hive more welcoming.
